In Adamawa, operatives recovered 233,800 pills of tramadol during three raids, arresting two suspects.
A Toyota Sienna vehicle abandoned in Mayo-Belwa contained 195,600 pills, while another 27,900 pills were found in a suspect’s bedroom in Jambutu ward. A separate arrest at Namtari checkpoint yielded 10,300 pills.
In Zamfara, 109 bags of skunk weighing 1,099.4 kg were seized from a Mitsubishi Canter truck along Gummi-Daki Takwas road. The operation was supported by local community protection guards.
Additionally, two suspects were arrested in Yobe with 14,000 tramadol capsules, while Taraba operatives nabbed a suspect with 25.525 kg of skunk.
The agency continued its War Against Drug Abuse sensitization activities nationwide, targeting schools, worship centers, and communities.
Events included lectures at Sultan Abdulrahman College of Health Technology in Sokoto, Sarki Abdul Primary School in Katsina, and other institutions in Jigawa, Benue, and Kano.
The NDLEA Zone 11 Command also conducted an advocacy visit to the wife of the Enugu State governor.
