According to security analyst Bakatsine, the assailants barricaded the road, intercepted vehicles, and took an unspecified number of passengers hostage.
“The bandits targeted the Gusau–Gummi route, kidnapping multiple individuals, including Malam Sadis Isa,” Bakatsine confirmed.
Authorities have yet to release further details on rescue efforts or the identities of other victims.
