This was disclosed during a joint statement in the state by the lawmakers. The endorsement took place at a residence in Talata Mafara during an APC stakeholders’ meeting convened by a former governor.
A motion to adopt President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the APC’s 2027 presidential candidate was moved and seconded by the lawmakers, who stated that the president deserves a second term.
During the meeting, a former governor of Zamfara State called on APC supporters to unite and work together to achieve common goals in the state. He also urged religious leaders to intensify prayers for President Tinubu to overcome the challenges of insecurity and economic hardship facing the state and the country.
He assured APC supporters in the state of continued support, emphasizing the need for prayers for leaders to overcome challenges.
The Zamfara State APC Chairman commended the efforts of the former governor and a minister for their contributions toward ensuring the success of the APC in the state, expressing gratitude for their commitment.
