APC Kicks Off Digital Membership Campaign in Zamfara, Trains Agents

The All Progressives Congress has begun training agents and coordinators to drive its e-membership registration in Zamfara State. The one-day training is aimed at strengthening the party's membership database and promoting internal democracy.

APC Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Yusuf Idris, said the e-registration initiative aligns with President Bola Tinubu's vision and will provide equal opportunities for members to participate in party activities. "This exercise is very important, considering the strategic digital innovations being adopted to ensure the success of the party's renewed agenda as envisioned by the president," Idris said.

294 agents have been engaged to work with party members at the grassroots, while 14 local government supervisors will oversee the exercise. The process is expected to produce a credible and accurate database of party members.

The training is part of the party's commitment to digital innovation and internal democracy. Idris appealed to party members to enlighten their supporters and encourage them to register.

The launch in Zamfara Central was followed by events in Zamfara West and will conclude in Kaura Namoda, Zamfara North. Party leaders, including Minister of State for Defence, Dr Bello Matawalle, and Sen. Abdulaziz Yari, have pledged support for the initiative.
