Zamfara Governor’s Wife Clears Medical Bills for Hospital Patients

The wife of Zamfara State governor, Huriyya Lawal, has cleared the medical bills of patients receiving treatment at the Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital in Gusau as part of her end-of-the-year humanitarian outreach. During a visit to the hospital, each admitted patient was given ₦150,000 to cover medical expenses and alleviate other financial burdens.

The governor’s wife emphasized the importance of compassion and care for the sick, stating that supporting vulnerable members of society is a key focus of her humanitarian efforts. She highlighted that this initiative aligns with the state government’s commitment to improving citizens' wellbeing.

Mrs. Lawal also offered prayers for the patients' swift recovery and reassured them of the government’s ongoing support. Beneficiaries expressed gratitude, calling the intervention timely, thoughtful, and impactful.
