The equipment, which includes desktop and laptop computers, printers, projectors, and Starlink internet facilities, was acquired and handed over through a joint effort between the Zamfara State Action on Business Enabling Reforms (SABER) Programme and the Zamfara State Information Technology Development Agency (ZITDA).
During the distribution at the ZITDA office in Government House, Gusau, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Budget and Planning, who also serves as the State Focal Person for the SABER Programme, Sani Abubakar Bukkuyum, oversaw the process. Beneficiaries praised the initiative, calling it a well-timed and impactful intervention that will greatly benefit their operations.
This effort is part of Governor Dauda Lawal’s broader strategy to create a more conducive business environment in Zamfara State. By strengthening digital infrastructure, the government hopes to attract investors and improve e-governance for better public service delivery.
