Kaduna State College of Education, Gidan Waya, Screens Pioneer Students for NCE Weekend Programme at Sabon Sarki Study Centre
The Sabon Sarki Study Centre of Kaduna State College of Education has successfully conducted the screening exercise for its pioneer students under the NCE Weekend Programme and is set to commence lectures.
The screening, held at GSS Sabon Sarki, recorded an impressive turnout of prospective students. The exercise involved verification of academic credentials, documentation, and orientation on the structure and expectations of the programme. The smooth and transparent process underscores the College’s commitment to academic excellence and quality assurance.
The NCE Weekend Programme is designed to provide flexible learning opportunities for working-class individuals, teachers in both private and public schools, and other qualified candidates seeking to obtain the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) without disrupting their weekday commitments.
Speaking during the exercise, the Centre Coordinator, Mr. Caleb Ishaya Alot, expressed satisfaction with the turnout and congratulated the screened candidates. He described the milestone as a significant step toward expanding access to affordable teacher education within Sabon Sarki and neighbouring communities.
