At the party's 99th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held in Abuja, Mark outlined his vision for the party, emphasizing integrity, transparency, courage, and inclusivity.
He announced that 35% of the party's leadership positions would be reserved for women, while significant space would be created for youths under 40 to participate in the party's decision-making process.
Mark commended the outgoing National Working Committee (NWC) for establishing a solid foundation and pledged to build on their achievements by reforming internal party structures, strengthening the rule of law, and ensuring the party genuinely belongs to its members.
He also announced the creation of a 50-member policy committee to define the party's blueprint across key sectors, aiming to establish the ADC as a party recognized for its clear ideology, progressive policies, and patriotic governance.
The NEC meeting also dissolved the existing NWC and approved the formation of a caretaker committee to guide the party until its next national convention.
