Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos are currently protesting at the Lagos State House of Assembly, calling for the removal of the party's state chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi. The protesters, representing all 57 Local Council Development Areas, carried placards with slogans like "Ojelabi Must Go" and "We Want Fresh Leadership".
The demonstration, which began earlier today, has attracted a significant security presence, with police officers deployed around the Assembly complex to maintain law and order.
This development comes after previous protests in Lagos, including one in April where APC members in Ojokoro LCDA staged a protest against the alleged imposition of candidates for the local government election.
