In an interview with DW Africa, Bwala expressed confidence that the administration has the support of Nigerians ahead of the 2027 elections. He highlighted improvements in healthcare and food access, including the availability of rice, free caesarean sections for mothers, and subsidies on prescription drugs.
Bwala also defended President Tinubu's medical trips abroad, stating that the president is physically fitter than most presidents in advanced countries.
On the recent endorsements of President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 election, Bwala explained that the process is in line with the All Progressives Congress (APC) internal tradition of mid-term assessment.
Bwala emphasized that the Tinubu-led administration is confident ahead of 2027, citing the support of Nigerians and highlighting achievements in critical sectors such as deepening democracy, local government autonomy, and state government empowerment.
