NEMA Provides Relief to Rainstorm Victims in Zamfara

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has distributed relief materials to victims of a recent rainstorm disaster in Zamfara State's Bungudu/Maru Federal Constituency.

In collaboration with the Zamfara State Emergency Management Agency (ZEMA), NEMA provided humanitarian aid to affected communities. The agency's Head of Operations, Aliyu Shehu Kafindangi, oversaw the distribution and expressed sympathy for the victims.

Kafindangi emphasized the need for government agencies to educate communities on disaster preparedness and implement policies to build resilience against weather-related disasters.

The distribution was attended by representatives from the federal constituency and ZEMA, who thanked the Federal Government for its swift response. Beneficiaries also expressed gratitude for the timely relief, which included food supplies approved by the Federal Government.
