Yilwatda spoke during a gathering with coordinators from all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja. The registration effort, designed to create a reliable and verifiable digital membership record, is set to end on January 30, 2026.
Stressing the importance of the coordinators’ roles, Yilwatda stated that their work is vital in reinforcing the party’s grassroots foundation. He emphasized that the position is not just for show and that robust registration at the state level is essential for the APC’s future electoral success.
He further directed that no party member—regardless of influence or status—should be left out of the registration process. To ensure smooth operations, he advised coordinators to use alternative tools like Android phones in areas where registration tablets are not available.
Yilwatda also connected the digital registration initiative to wider reforms supported by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, highlighting the importance of precise data for party planning and national decision-making.
The coordinators expressed their support, promising to meet the registration target before the deadline.
