He pursued higher education at Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic, studying Library and Information Science. His career began at the College of Administration in Sokoto in 1992, but he later transitioned to the petroleum industry, working as a dealer representative for TOTAL Nig plc at the Kaduna Refinery. In 2000, he returned to academia as the Head of the Research and Development Department (Library) at Zamfara College of Arts & Science, which allowed him to further his studies at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he earned his first degree in Economics.
Dr. Jafar continued his academic journey with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education and later an MSc in Business Administration from the National Open University of Nigeria. He also engaged in various courses and research among which includes various Courses at Ibadan Business School, Supreme Management Training & Consultancy Service’s Limited Ikeja Lagos) and eventually awarded a Doctorate from the World Mobile Educational System in Abuja, in partnership with the International Kingdom University, USA. He remains committed to lifelong learning and is currently enrolled in online courses at HBI University in the United States.
His religious education began since childhood at Ø¥ØµØ·Ù„Ø§Ø Ø§Ù„Ø¯ÙŠÙ† and expanded through connections with institutions like the Bilal Muslim Mission in Tanzania, where he earned a basic Islamic certificate in 1987. He was deeply influenced by his association with Ayatullah Sayyed Muh'd Musawi, who represented Ayatullah Khu'i in India from 1989 to 1991. Among his notable teachers were Sheikh Muhd Nur Das, Sheikh Bashir Lawal, Sheikh Saleh Zaria, Sheikh Dr. Hafiz Kano, and Sheikh Isma'il Kwanni. He was appointed a National Public Relations Officer (PRO) to Rasulul Aazam Foundation (RAAF) an Islamic religious Organization based in Kano for more than Ten years.
Professionally, Dr. Jafar serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Economics Department at the Zamfara College of Arts & Science. He has also contributed to National development as a Master Trainer for the National Cash Transfer Office (NCTO) and as a Training and Communication Officer with Zamfara Cash Transfer Unit and appointed as Operations officer of the State Unit before moving to a higher feat. Beyond academia, he founded the Ja'afar Humanitarian Foundation, an NGO that supports vulnerable individuals through financial aid, healthcare, and education initiatives, among its activities includes their current facilitation in sponsoring students for health training programs in Kaduna.
He is also an entrepreneur, managing businesses such as JA'AFARI GLOBAL RESOURCES & ENTERPRISES NIG LTD, which focuses on mining, industry and vocational training, and ALHUJJAT Enterprises, which engages in various commercial activities. Additionally, he works as a consultant to media houses and Social protection projects, writes articles, and attended seminars/ conferences both within and outside Nigeria, sharing insights on education, economics, and community development.
