The Chief Medical Director, Ahmed Ahidjo, praised the Federal Government's contributions to the facility and described the ICT institute as the first of its kind in Nigeria. He noted that the institute would enhance healthcare capacity among practitioners.
Ahidjo also acknowledged that eight projects, including health facilities, roads, and infrastructure, were inaugurated and named after stakeholders who contributed significantly to the hospital's growth.
The Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Ali Muhammad Pate, emphasized that the health sector is a key focus area of the Tinubu-led administration. He commended the Chief Medical Directors for their leadership and described their role as pivotal in healthcare service delivery.
The event was attended by notable figures, including Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum, traditional rulers, and key government leaders.
