According to reports, the bye-elections were held in the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, Zaria Kewaye State Constituency, and Basawa State Constituency.
The ADC Vanguard, the party's coalition mobilisation arm, made the announcement on its official X (formerly Twitter) account, stating: "ADC Coalition dominates Kaduna State, securing 2 out of 3 constituencies in a stunning victory."
Although the official results from the Kaduna State Independent Electoral Commission are still pending, the ADC's claim suggests a significant upset for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a surprising twist, APC chieftain Ayekooto Akindele took a swipe at former Governor Nasir El-Rufai, attributing the emerging results to a rejection of El-Rufai's influence in the state.
Akindele stated, "Unfortunately for him, Kaduna people said loudly today that Uba Sani is their leader."
