Arsenal's £68m Signing Eze Can Take Gunners to 'Different Level' - Arteta

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has high praise for new recruit Eberechi Eze, predicting that the England international will create "magic moments" and take the Gunners to a different level.

Eze, who signed a four-year contract worth up to £68 million, was presented to the Emirates crowd before Arsenal's 5-0 win over Leeds, which took the club to the top of the Premier League table.

Although Eze did not play against Leeds, he may make his Gunners debut against Liverpool at Anfield next Sunday, especially with Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard sustaining injuries in the match.
Arteta hailed Eze's talent, experience, and personality, saying he has the capacity to create special moments from different positions and situations.

Eze's signing is Arsenal's seventh of the summer transfer window, taking their spending to around £250 million. The move is seen as a significant statement of intent from the Gunners, who are determined to end their 22-year wait for the Premier League title.

Arteta acknowledged that injuries have already disrupted Arsenal's season, but expressed confidence that the team is better equipped to handle setbacks this time around.

Saka and Odegaard will undergo scans on Sunday to determine the extent of their injuries, which Arteta hopes will not be too severe.
