Renewed Hope Initiative: 500 Women Receive ₦50,000 Grants in Zamfara

In a move to promote women's economic empowerment, the First Lady of Zamfara State, H.E. Huriyya Dauda Lawal, officially launched the Women Economic Empowerment Programme under the Renewed Hope Initiative. This initiative is a collaborative effort between the Zamfara State Government and the Tony Elumelu Foundation.

During the flag-off ceremony, 500 hardworking women from across Zamfara State received ₦50,000 grants each to support and expand their businesses. These grants are non-repayable, demonstrating a genuine investment in the strength, resilience, and dedication of Nigerian women.
The beneficiaries were encouraged to utilize this support wisely, with the aim of growing their businesses and creating a brighter future for themselves and their families.

The Zamfara State Government expressed its deep gratitude to the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for her visionary leadership and commitment to women's empowerment.
