Bauchi State House of Assembly has confirmed the reappointment of Malam Nasiru Mohammed Yelwa and Malam Yususf Ghani as permanent Commissioners at the Bauchi State Civil Service Commission.
The House made the confirmation after receiving a letter from the state governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed signed by the secretary to the State government, Alhaji Aminu Hammayo and read by the house majority leader, Sale Hodi Jibir during plenary.
As contained in the letter, the reappointment of the two permanent commissioners by the state governor was done based on the power conferred on him by section 198 of the 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended.
Governor Bala Mohammed in the letter appreciated the cordial working relationship between the state legislature and the executive arm and expressed gratitude to the state lawmakers consideration.
In his ruling while presiding over the plenary, the Deputy Speaker of the House Jamilu Umaru Dahiru directed to the clerk of the house to write and communicate to the Executive arm on the confirmation.
The House adjourned to tomorrow, Wednesday.
