FCE(T) Gusau Now Offers Degree Programs

The Federal College of Education (Technical) in Gusau has officially become a degree-awarding institution. This means the college can now admit students into 28 undergraduate programs approved by the National Universities Commission for the 2025/2026 academic year.

Students can now apply for degree programs in fields like Sciences, Education, Arts, and Technical Vocational studies. This change is a major step forward for the college in providing higher education opportunities.

The school management has confirmed that the college has received full accreditation and no longer needs to affiliate with any university to offer degree programs. Applicants with an NCE or diploma can apply for direct entry (UG 2), while those with JAMB results can apply for the first-year entry (UG 1).

The college also guarantees admission for qualified candidates, offers instant financial support through NELFund, and provides full-time degree programs on its main campus. Students can start classes even if they don’t have immediate funds available.
