Mamman Ibrahim Tsafe, a retired Deputy Inspector of Police, spoke to reporters at the event, calling the election a success due to the calm and disciplined behavior of voters. He advised the incoming leaders to govern with integrity, justice, and respect for peaceful relations with Kaduna’s host communities.
Aisha Asama’u Muhammad Gusau, the women’s leader, encouraged the new officials to foster unity and uphold the rule of law within the association. Meanwhile, Rabi’u Garba Yandoto, a retired Colonel and head of the election’s Security Committee, thanked members for their orderly participation and urged the elected team to lead with inclusivity and accountability during their four-year term.
Retired Chief Superintendent of Police Bala Muhammad Kaura praised the election as a milestone, noting the voters’ maturity. He cautioned the new executives against divisive actions that could harm the unity of Zamfara indigenes in Kaduna.
The newly elected Chairman, Balarabe Gambo, promised an open-door and transparent administration, emphasizing that the election reflected the community’s commitment to progress. His wife, Jamila Abdullahi, expressed confidence in his ability to lead effectively.
Other elected officials include Asama’u Muhammad (Welfare Officer), Suleiman Rabi’u (Auditor-General), Aminu Isma’ila (Public Relations Officer), Salisu Magaji (Financial Secretary), and Sani Umar (Secretary-General).
