During an official working visit to Zamfara State, the Federal Ministry of Works carried out a thorough on-site assessment of the SETRACO Road Project, specifically Phase 1, Section 2, which involves the construction of a 600-meter dualized carriageway. The inspection was led by Hon. Abdullahi Yakasai, who represented the Honourable Minister of Works, Engr. David Nweze Umahi.
This visit was part of the Ministry’s regular monitoring and evaluation efforts to ensure strict adherence to approved engineering standards and project specifications. Hon. Yakasai meticulously examined various aspects of the road construction, including the pavement structure, drainage systems, road furniture, and overall finishing. The assessment confirmed that the project aligns with the required standards, with a strong focus on durability, safety, and long-term sustainability.
Hon. Yakasai expressed the Honourable Minister’s satisfaction with the progress and quality of work done so far.
