However, the youth group, through its Coordinator Malam Danladi Cika, dismissed these claims as a smear campaign. In a statement released to journalists in Sokoto, Cika emphasized Jaji’s track record as a dedicated party stalwart, pointing to his instrumental role in APC’s 2023 electoral victories.
The statement painted Jaji as a unifying force, detailing his grassroots mobilization efforts across the North-West. He reportedly collaborated with diverse stakeholders—from Islamic leaders in Kaduna to farmers’ associations and student groups—to consolidate support for the APC. His leadership as the party’s North-West Director of Contact and Mobilisation and his service as a presidential return agent during the elections were cited as proof of his unwavering commitment.
Beyond politics, the group highlighted Jaji’s philanthropy, which has touched lives in Zamfara and beyond. Cika questioned the logic of the allegations, attributing them to “political opportunists” who lacked electoral impact even in their own constituencies. The Youth Frontiers reiterated their solidarity with Jaji and urged party members to prioritize unity, especially with future elections on the horizon.
